Any recommendations on honeymoon destinations?
Mexico is out because the only couple I know who went there was evacuated to the middle of nowhere during a hurricane. I would not like that.

Definitely Hawaii! I can give you some suggestions. Kevin and I are going back soon because we loved it SO much - and you'd be going at a good time - not a lot of kids - mainly honeymooners and they totally cater to honeymooners there. :)
Of course, I'd start saving that bonus of yours if you want to eat there :)

I've heard Belize is nice. Costa Rica too.
I've never been to Hawaii, but my brother went and had a great time.
What about Canada? : p

The way we are spending money, I am thinking a bike trip to Sandusky is probably our only option.

Mexico SUCKS!
I recomend The Body Holiday at LeSport in St. Lucia. It's an "all inclusive" that doesn't want to be known as an all inclusive. You get one spa treatment per day in the price. The food and drink were FANTASTIC! One thing I like was that they offered additional food and drink that was not in the all inclusive price so they didn't cheap out. What was included was great but if you wanted something more it was there for you. This is where Dave and I went on our honeymoon and it was the BEST vacation I have ever been on. I cried when we left! I have a link on my site to their website. At least check it out...I am NOT kidding - it was AWESOME!

One more thing....my dad calls Puerto Rico the armpit of the world (you know my mom is from there and he hates it there). When we came back from a trip to Mexico I told him, "Dad, I found the asshole." NOT A FAN OF MEXICO!
I do, however, disagree with my dad and LOVE Puerto Rico. I recommend El Conquistador (in Fajardo) there (and also have a link to that on my site). That's where my parents honeymooned. If you want something a little secluded there is a hotel on Vieques Island (just off the cost of Puerto Rico)called the Martineau Bay Resort and Spa. We are thinking about checking it out this May because their spring rates are a little cheaper than El Conquistador. I am looking into the logistics of getting from Vieques to Puerto Rico (how hard is it to do this). I think there is a ferry that you can take a car on but I don't know how often it runs. Puerto Rico is an AWESOME choice!

Take a cruise, one that doesn't make too many ports but has several days at sea!
Mexico does not suck.
